WE ARE
Run for the Kids is a virtual fundraiser fun run hosted by the Phi Delta Epsilon. All the funds raised will go towards the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, All Children’s Hospital in Downtown St. Petersburg.

Phi Delta Epsilon is an International Medical Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles of philanthropy, deity, and education through fellowship, service, mentoring, and formal training in leadership, science, and ethics. As USF's only medical co-ed fraternity, we take much pride in our close camaraderie and unparalleled diversity. Our main philanthropy is fundraising for Children's Miracle Network.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion for children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada. These donations have gone to support research, training, purchasing equipment, and paying for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
BACKGROUND
Run for the Kids is an open race that include running and walking. Registration is $5 and you can donate more and get sponsors to donate towards your run/walk per mile. The run will last from March 6th to March 13th, 2021; you will have all week to run or walk the miles you want. You will have until Friday March 19th 11:59PM EST to submit your miles ran/walked here. We will make a thank you video highlighting the individuals and groups that ran/walked the furthest and raised the most money (send highlights of your run/walk or training to our contact email, usfphidevpf@usf.edu, you may be featured in the video!).

TEAM
The Vice President of Finance of Phi Delta Epsilon FL Epsilon chapter, Lauryn Bates, will plan and execute the Run for the Kids virtual fundraising event. Former President of Phi Delta Epsilon, Darrys Reese, and former Secretary of Risk Management, Cameron Faulk, founded the Run for the Kids virtual fundraiser idea. In collaboration with members of Phi Delta Epsilon, Sarina Patel, Rachael Bock, Macy Kuhn and Rachel Sauls, managed and programmed this website for donations, reservations, and background information.
